Hero Ingredients

Laminaria digitata (Kelp) and Chlorella vulgaris extract (Green algae)

Laminaria, commonly known as kelp, contains the highest concentration of minerals of all algae. In combination with  Chlorella, it rebalances the entire microbiota (bacteriobiota and mycobiota) to soothe scalp itching, irritation and dryness.

Ginseng Extract

Contemporary science has revealed that ginseng contains a wide variety of bioactive constituents, especially a group of saponin compounds collectively known as ginsenosides, which are accredited with diverse biological activities. Ginseng saponins particularly increase the multiplication of follicle cells. The more follicle cells, the stronger the hair roots are, thus resulting in less hair loss.

Onion Bulb Extract

Onion helps foster hair growth and has been recommended for treating hair loss and other scalp problems. With its excellent cleansing, conditioning, nourishing and antibacterial properties, it is found to be quite successful as an agent for natural hair loss treatments.

Ginger Extract

Ginger has natural antiseptic properties that provide alleviation for dandruff and dry, itchy skin. It also contains circulatory agents that stimulate the flow of blood on the scalp, which triggers the hair follicles and encourages new growth

Bought this for my wife who has suffered with a dry, flaky, itchy and sore scalp for years.

She’s only been using it for just over a week now and has noticed a significant improvement.

Early days yet but so far so good!.

Like the product but unfortunately it had leaked out of the crimped end and so I have lots some of the product in transit. I got back from holiday to a sticky mess!! The actual product is nice, feels good on my scalp but too early to say if it will make a difference long term and I’m reluctant to buy again as the same thing might happen on the way to me…

Hi Ruth- let us send you a replacement!

Having only used this twice so far it’s hard to say if it’s working but it does seem to have eased my itchy scalp so hoping it’s going to continue to get better.

Seems great for a child with psoriasis

My daughter, age 10, suffers from psoriasis on her scalp. We've tried several treatments, mostly prescribed by the dermatologist. I'm reluctant as many of them say they're not suitable for children under 12, so I use as little as possible. None have lasting effects, some cause an allergic reaction, and she hates using them. I decided to give this a try as it's safe for all ages. She likes it as it goes on after washing rather than the shampoos that have to be left in the hair for a while and then washed off. Within moments of application she said the itching has reduced. It's early days but, so far, she's scratching less and there are less flakes in her hair. It's quite expensive but a little goes a long way. I'm hopeful that we've found a non-medicated safe-for-kids solution that actually works!
